Craggy on bottom, often fairly flat on top. Some are stationary, some move around air currents. Vary from tiny (dozen feet across) to huge. The smaller ones are feared by ship captains as they are hard to spot and can do a great deal of damage.
Kingdom of Arcadia and Jaggies are two examples. Although most are small and isolated.
