Use the following to help select Ranger’s Favored Terrain.
Players start on a trade fleet, which is Aboard terrain. There are three Sky terrains depending on elevation. At 1000’ or less elevation the “ground’s” terrain is used. Floating island terrain includes; Cold, Desert, Forest, Jungle, Mountain, Plains, Urban. Mountains piercing Fog Sea terrain includes; Cold, Mountain, Jungle, Underground, Urban (Dwarf Fortresses). The Vanara Plateau is almost all Jungle.
The following are suggested starting Favored Terrains.
- Aboard (flying boats, ships, aeronauticals)
- Cold (ice, glaciers, snow, and tundra)
- Jungle
- Mountain (including hills)
- Sky, Strato (low, 1001-3000’ elevation)
- Sky, Alto (mid, 3001-6000’ elevation)
- Sky, Cirro (high, 6001’+ elevation, need ability to breath Thin Air)
- Underground (caves and dungeons)
These Favored Terrains exist, but are probably less common. At least at lower levels.
- Desert (sand and wastelands)
- Forest (fungal, coniferous and deciduous)
- Plains
- Planes (pick one, other than Material Plane)
- Swamp
- Urban (buildings, streets, and sewers)
- Water (above and below the surface)
Wealth by level will be loosely inforced. Which means periodically we’ll check that everyone doesn’t have more nor much less equipment than their level dictates.
Item Creation Feats allow you to exceed your WBL by 25%.
