Ray Har­ry­hausen was a leg­endary stop-­mo­tion an­i­ma­tor and film­mak­er, known for his ground­break­ing work in the field of vis­ual ef­fects on films such as “Ja­son and the Arg­onaut­s” (1963), “The 7th Voy­age of Sin­bad” (1958), and my per­son­al fa­vorite “Clash of the Ti­tan­s” (1981).
